We were delighted with the DJ Richard on the night of our wedding – he arrived the night before to set up his sound equipment, liaised with the band as the DJ was playing the first dance and then handing over to the band, and played all the songs we had discussed with him before the event. One of our guests brought down a particular song on a CD on the night and the DJ played it to. We have recommended Star DJs to some of our friends who are getting married.

On the night the music was fantastic. We started with an 8 piece band and the transition to Garvan's set was seamless, and the music he included complimented the band perfectly. Full dance floor all night!

In the run up to the night Garvan had great advice for us and it was probably the apsect of the day that we worried about least. By agreement, Garvan made sure we got involved in as little (if any) of the minutae as possible and as the day drew closer, it was a pleasant change to not be asked to make yet another last-minute decision on something.

Our wedding took place on Saturday June 2nd 2007 in Finnstown Country House Lucan - bride Alison Mc Guire, Groom Alan Gaffney. I thought the star DJ service was excellent - John showed up well before his time & promptly set up. The music he played had the floor full all nite - even if he did play a few tunes we asked him not to but for the kids!! I would fully recommend this service to others!
