Hi,
Just wanted to say that my wife and I were very happy with our DJ (Tim Harrington) for our wedding in Castlemartyr Resort. He was professional but also relaxed and friendly to deal with and more importantly he really got the crowd dancing. We would have no hesitation in recommending Star DJs and Tim Harrington to any friends or family who are looking for a DJ for any type of event.
Many thanks

Dear Garvan,
Very nice after service requesting customers view after the event.
I would highly recommend your DJ Owen who played to a very tough audience ranging from 41/2 to 13 year olds… and also included some parental bouncers!! He was very professional and entertaining and 6th Class students want a disco every month.
Thank you to you and your team.

Garvan and Star DJ’s put on a great activity for our virtual team event. Garvan was a pleasure to work with and as enthusiastic from the first to the last day. If we ever had a question or a request, Garvan was always on hand to respond really quickly. Trying to create a fun WFH event is a difficult task, but this was effortless with Music bingo and Garvan.

I am delighted to send this email to say that Garvan was a fantastic dj at our wedding.
I met with him in advance and we discussed what we needed on the night. Garvan gave us great advice and was very professional and knowledgeable.
It did take the crowd a while to warm up which is probably true of all weddings esp after a 4 course meal. It certainly had nothing to do with the music. But if a song wasn’t working Garvan changed it and got everyone up. Everyone commented on the entertainment saying it was a great night with a great mix of music to suit all guests and I agree completely. We were delighted that we decided to go with Star DJ’s and I will recommend them to friends and family for their events. I barely had time to drink on the night of my wedding as I was on the dance floor so much and that’s exactly the way I wanted it.

Very very impressed with the service. The D.J was very helpful in the run up to the event. On the night itself, he made a big difference by getting everyone onto the dance floor and keeping them there for the night, through good interaction with the crowd and great music. Can honestly say the night wouldn’t have been half the craic without the DJ that we had.

Hi Star,
Just wanted to say thanks for everything that Mark did for our wedding, he was brilliant and really helped to make the night a huge success always managing to keep the dance floor full of people, not an easy job considering the youngest guest was 8 and the oldest about 85. Couldn’t have asked more from him, he went above and beyond.

Star DJ were amazing! They helped us a lot to organize the evening party and set all the events during the party. They take their time to discuss with us about what kind of party we want, what kind of music, the kind of audiance they will have. With their experience they give us good advices to have the best party. Because were french-canadian- swiss they ask us to give them popular music from our countries to unify everyone and that was amazing! Thank you again for everything and my guests still talk about this great party!!!!

Hi
Darragh DJ’d at our wedding at cloghan castle and we cant speak highly enough of him. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end – if anything we needed a bigger dancfloor as it wall packed to the brim! Everyone commented on how great a night it was and the music was a huge part of that – the songs we requested for friends were all played so everyone was happy, and it was a huge relief to take a look at the dancefloor and see that everyone was having a ball. The music played throughout the meal was equally enjoyable and set a really nice ambiance, and Darragh was a great MC too – took great control over our boistrous crowd and made sure they gave us a rapturous applause for our entrance, the speeches and the first dance.
All in all it was a brilliant night thanks to Darragh and we’re hughly grateful!

We recently used the Star DJs Platinum Package for our wedding. Garvan and the team didn’t disappoint. From start to finish from when we originally made contact they were super, so much help and gave us guidance for both day and the music choices. The day itself was amazing and the dance floor was full from start (9 pm) to finish (2 am). In fact a number of the venue staff commented they had never seen so many people dance all the time at a wedding, and I would put it down to the DJ (Garvan) and his ability to read the crowd and quickly change any song that wasn’t catching the attention of crowd. The background music for the dinner was also excellent and a number of guests commented on how nice it was. We are still getting messages from guests their feet are sore from all the dancing. For me part of what I envisaged to make the wedding excellent was a full dance floor, and Star DJs (Garvan) made that possible. We would have absolutely no hesitation rating the service as 5 star plus and if we were doing it all over again wouldn’t change a thing about the choice of DJs of the fact we decided to not get a band. Thank you Garvan you really made our day spectacular!

I would like to say that myself and Kevin were absolutely thrilled with the service provided by star dj’s. He was a pleasure to deal with both in the lead up to the wedding and on that night. He was extremely helpful and courteous. I can honestly say that I have never been to an occasion where I have been happier with a dj and many people have made the same comment to myself and Kevin. His music choice was excellent and he kept the crowd lively. I will definitely be recommending star djs to anyone I know that has an event coming up.

First of all, everything to do with the hiring and arranging of our booking was smooth and reassuring. We heard about Star DJs from a friend. It’s often said that word of mouth recommendations are the best recommendations, and this is definitely the case. We’ll certainly be recommending star DJs to all of our friends and family who are yet to get married. Mark went out of his way to keep both of us happy. The feedback we received from our guests was fantastic. Most people complained about having sore legs, but only because they could not stop dancing. One of our guests said that he danced more at our wedding than he did at his own! The music was simply fantastic. We were delighted with the service Star DJs provided and have absolutely no qualms about recommending them to anyone.

We got married this year and were delighted with the service and performance of our DJ, Malcolm. He was uber professional, and patient as he had to wait a for the band who had decided to play on for an extra hour or so. However, the thing that I would like to comment on the most was the fact that he had the dance floor filled for the entire time he played, making the evening truly memorable. All the comments we’ve had subsequently have been nothing but very positive.
Key to his excellence was taking the time to speak to me a few days prior in order to get a feel for the music we wanted and when. To be honest, our band were amazing and I was a little concerned that our DJ would not be able to lift our guests after the band had finished. I need not have worried, as Malcolm was superb. I would be very quick to recommend Malcolm again if anyone was looking for a DJ for their wedding.
Please pass this feedback along with our thanks on to Malcolm.

Hi,
After using your DJ for a party last week I would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a good spirited, fun, friendly, knowledgable DJ. Not only did our DJ add to the atmoshphere on the night he also listened to the genres of music we wanted played and did an outstanding job. Over all the night would not have been so successful had he not been there. He managed to impress an age group ranging from teens all the way up to the grand parents and all our family and friends are still chatting about his expertise in music and friendly enthusiastic persona. All in all our DJ definately knows how to “Get This Party Started” whether it’s “Sweet Caroline” or “California Girls” your DJ is always up to the challenge!

Just a note to thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job as DJ at our wedding in Dromoland. I have had so many comments regarding how great the music was. Our guests loved it. You understood the mood of the crowd perfectly and chose the music accordingly. The dance floor was literally packed all night long. You were courteous and a true professional from the very beginning. I would never hesitate to recommend you and your company to any of my friends.

We live in London however my husband is Irish and we decided to get married in Lutterallstown Castle in Dublin. As a music and party lover it was super important for me to have a DJ who understand my preferred music genre and is able to also do what he or she do best! My initial contact was with Garvan who was very professional and efficient. Based on my requirements, I was suggested DJ Steve Reddy. Steve was absolutely brilliant and did a fantastic job! He was calm, organised and understood all of the requirements. It was truly a pleasure to work with him. Bearing in mind my music choice was not the traditional wedding party music, it was more of house, dance/ club vibe…Steve was a perfect DJ for it!

Dear Sir/Madam
We are delighted with your DJ services at our wedding reception in Finnstown House.
Our DJ Al Redmond’s performance as MC was without reproach. His timing was perfect to the second, even with some of our awkward special requests. Al’s selection of music was well chosen and diverse enough to satisfy the mixed group of guests.
I was particularly impressed with the pre wedding communications e-mails etc. This allowed us to tailor our requests for our special day and reassured us that the musical arrangements were in good hands. We would have no hesitation in recommending Al to friends for future events.

Garvan looked after our wedding in Barberstown Castle. Nothing was ever an issue and the communication was always prompt and professional.
He met my wife and I about 4 weeks before the wedding and really worked to understand not just our taste in music that we wanted to hear but also understand what our guests might want (we had friends and family from Ireland, America and Mexico).
He took all our views on board and made some great suggestions on how we could improve the day. We had no band so had Garvan from approx 5pm until 1am and he was really was our entertainment director for the day. He worked with the hotel staff before and during the day and we didn’t have anything to worry about.
We really couldn’t have asked for more from him and it was clear that he really wanted us to have the best day possible. We couldn’t recommend StarDJs enough and nothing was ever an issue for him. Thanks Garvan!

Hi
I was very pleased with the service received from StarDJ’s. The disco was being run for the 6th class students of the school as their last event together. They had their graduation night in the school and this event was organised and run by the parents on the evening of their last day at the school. The school is mixed and does not have a feeder school attached to it, so the children are splitting up and going in different directions, hence it is a sentimental and quite emotional day for them. I asked the DJ to acknowledge this at the end of the night but that we didn’t want any emotional “This will be our last song together” type of songs.
The attendees are at that awkward age, not kids but not adults, so we wanted the music and mood accurately pitched to suit their taste and age.
Our DJ was Owen. He was great. Everything he did was age appropriate and he obviously pitched the style of music well as the kids appeared to love it and the parents (helpers) enjoyed it too!! He did two party games with them which they enjoyed. Overall the disco was a success and the kids had a great time. Many parents commented that the DJ was great. Owen was not only a great DJ he was friendly, good with the kids, polite and punctual. What more could we have asked for. I will certainly pass on your details to the next year parents and would recommend Star DJ’s based on my experience.

Booked Garvan for a virtual Christmas party event where he hosted Music Bingo, and it was a great hit with the whole crowd! Very professional and really fun set up on the day. And making all the arrangements in advance was such a great and easy process. Found Garvan to be really accommodating, helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend!

From myself and my new wife, Mary, I want to extend a huge thank you for making our day so special. We had a very good feeling about him from the first time we met. He filled us full of confidence that he would look after everything regarding entertainment on the night and he really lived up to his promise. From the moment he started, he was in full controll of everything. He went above and beyond the ordinary d.j. and became an entertainer. The dance floor wasn’t empty once, and the moment he saw the crowd flagging a bit, he’d change tack immediately and get a whole new vibe going. Everyone we’ve spoken to have commented on a few things, the venue (Cabra Castle), some of the speeches, the weather and EVERYONE commented on what a good DJ we had. Many asked where we got him, so I’m sure you can expect a few referrals. Once more, I want to thank you all in Star DJ’s .

We would like to thank Garvan Rigby from Star DJ’s, he was awesome from start to finish! A true professional who patiently compiled our song requests ensuring he captured our traditional Scottish and Irish ceilidh music in addition to the 60s/70s and 80s classics, the dance floor was never empty! We highly recommend Garvan for all occasions!

A great service from start to finish, which included a lengthy consultation to make sure we were getting everything we wanted. Garvan played an 8 hour set including through the wedding meal – which was a talking point amongst guests. Read the crowd well and if a song wasn’t working he bought it right back so everyone was on the dancefloor. Well worth every cent!

just a quick note to thank you for your help last week in organising a DJ (Johnny) for our Rathmines house party. It was a great success, although the crowd was small, but those there really enjoyed the music selection, very appropriate. Johnny is very good at his job.

On the night the music was fantastic. We started with an 8 piece band and the transition to Garvan’s set was seamless, and the music he included complimented the band perfectly. Full dance floor all night! In the run up to the night Garvan had great advice for us and it was probably the apsect of the day that we worried about least. By agreement, Garvan made sure we got involved in as little (if any) of the minutae as possible and as the day drew closer, it was a pleasant change to not be asked to make yet another last-minute decision on something. Great service, professionally delivered, and we wish you lots of continued success

The dance routines went down so well with young and old. Everyone commented and still comments on how fantastic you were.

We had will as the dj, sound guy, set up early so we had music throughout the early evening too – which was a big plus, catered to all needs, very pleasant to all the guests and actually played a good set, unlike other djs iv used before. Hi,
Well what can I say, we had the best wedding day ever and I feel that Garvan played a huge part in making it so perfect for us. We met with Garvan a couple of weeks before the wedding. He gave us lots of really good advice about what music we should and should not have at the wedding and we took all of his advice on board and completely trusted him for all our music on the day. We told him to just do whatever he thought on the day and that we were happy with his judgements. He arranged the arrivals music at the Stephens Green Hibernian Club and he did the lovely background music for the dinner and then he played for the whole night. One piece of advice he gave us was this: He told us that on our wedding day wherever we (me and Declan) were the crowd would follow us. So he said if you want people to dance then we should dance. Well we took this advice on board 100% and the dance floor was full all night long. Everybody danced, the younger crowd and the older crowd. I have all the videos and pictures to prove this. It was so much fun. All of our friends told us after how much they enjoyed the wedding and that the DJ was BRILLIANT!!!
I am delighted you have emailed me to ask for feedback and i would like to say i was 100% delighted with everything that Garvan did. It was a pleasure to work with him and i would recommend him to everyone.
Please pass on our thanks to Garvan for helping make our big day just perfect. Next time we are having a party we will definately be giving you a call.

Hi there,
I would be happy to give my feedback on the service leading up to and on the day of our wedding itself. In a nutshell I was very impressed with the service of Star DJ’s and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to any friends of ours getting married in the near future and have done so already. We had Colm as our DJ who was extremely friendly and professional to deal with and with the music being such a huge part of our wedding that we wanted to get right we were delighted to see the dancefloor heaving all night!
Thanks again for everything.

I had such a positive experience with Star DJ’s! Myself and my now wife had Jack for Star DJ’s DJ our wedding reception and he was spot on! He arrived on time, made no fuss at all when setting up and he had the floor hopping all night! From our very first call with Garvan we got a great vibe, Garvan listened to us and asked loads of questions. We had a follow up call with Jack a few weeks before the wedding and he put our minds at ease! He made sure that any requests or special songs we wanted were included! On the night he read the room, keeping the music flowing and our crowd on their feet! We couldn’t have asked for more or for better!

We were delighted with the DJ Richard on the night of our wedding – he arrived the night before to set up his sound equipment, liaised with the band as the DJ was playing the first dance and then handing over to the band, and played all the songs we had discussed with him before the event. One of our guests brought down a particular song on a CD on the night and the DJ played it to. We have recommended Star DJs to some of our friends who are getting married.

As expected , the music on the night was perfect. The dance floor was full all nightand everyone absulutely loved it.
The service you and Darragh provided right from the booking untill the end of the night was simply excellent, and we would certainly not hesitate in recommending Star DJs for anyone planning a wedding.

In a word. Outstanding! Anyone reading this, and considering Star DJ’s, look no further. You won’t be disappointed by the service, which is superb, on all levels. Garvan was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and with 20 years experience under his belt, and certainly knows his trade. He is also extremely obliging, and professional, and pricing is also excellent. We had Malcolm as our DJ on the night, and he was absolutely brilliant, the crowd loved him, as did we! We also got a chance to meet him beforehand, which was also a nice touch. We gave him an idea of some of the music that we were keen on, and he delivered, with bells on. Malcolm just gets on with it, and before you know, he is set up, and getting the crowd going! Star DJ’s are up for nomination for Wedding DJ of the Year, and without hesitation you will get my vote, and I hope you win, if you do, it will certainly be well-deserved.

Can’t reccomend Star DJ’s enough! Extremely professional service. At first we were a bit hesitent about getting an all day DJ instead of a band but we made the right decision in the end with getting Star Dj’s. I got in touch with Star Dj’s through Weddingsonline. I would highly recommend them to any of our friends or family for events or weddings. Mark was our DJ on the night and he was absolutely fantastic. We had guests from all over Europe – Italy, Spain, Romania etc. I asked Mark on the lead up to the wedding if it would be possible to play a mix of Latin and Romanian music and also music to keep the older members on the dance floor. He said it was no problem at all..and it wasn’t! The dance floor was never empty and by the end of the night most people had their shoes off so they could keep dancing!! The feedback from the guests was amazing. They assumed we had given Mark a list of songs we wanted him to play throughout the night but we didn’t. The only song we asked him to play was our first dance song. He gauged the type of music that got people out of their seats and onto the dance floor. So a MASSIVE thank you to Mark & Star DJ’s for our very sore feet.. we would do it all over again ????

We just had a blast this afternoon playing Music Bingo with our superb host Garvan Rigby. Such a pleasure to work with an organisation that make it so easy to arrange an online event. It’s literally a case of turn up and have fun and the smiles on the faces of 20 people from almost 20 different countries getting together to have fun online is priceless. What a great way to keep the team spirit alive in these remote working times. Highly recommend Star DJs to anyone for a work event or even a birthday celebration.

The Kids were very happy with the DJ. He did lots of games and played most of the songs we had put on our playlist. I had hopes of using the karaoke but we never got around to it, so would just go without that option the next time. You had forewarned me that it probably wouldn’t work for a daytime party in the house, and you were right. A good time was had by all anyway.

A massive thank you to Star DJs and Garvan Rigby for turning our wedding reception to an amazing party. The dance floor was full, there were people dancing on the carpet as we run out of space! He had lots or tips for us before the wedding, great ideas for play-lists etc., and the evening was amazing. We had a mix of people from all over Europe & US, all ages and music tastes, but literally everyone (120 ppl!)was jumping and having a blast (even my granny of 83!). Garvan – a massive thank you for an amazing job in Clontarf Castle
PS. We did not go with the band, had the Dj for the night and it was the best idea ever.

Hi,
Jackie and I would like to express our gratitude to yourself and especially Garvan for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives. I have already recommended you and passed on Star DJs details to another couple I met who are getting married here in Belfast.
Garvan was very professional in our meeting before the wedding. Everything seemed to be arranged at the last minute with us but Garvan was very reassuring that we would have a great party.
As it turned out, we would not have had it any other way and were really impressed by the music lineup which kept everyone on the dance floor all night! The wedding was a huge success and everyone commented at how the entertainment, the venue, and every aspect of the wedding made it the best wedding ever!
I will enthusiastically recommend star DJs to anyone for their event and especially if they want the greatest wedding on earth. Although, unfortunately for them, the greatest wedding on earth already happened to us!!!

Our D.J. the night of the wedding was superb. Set up in no time and the transition from our wedding band to our D.J. was seamless. Music choice was great too and we had an incredible night. DJ guy was amazing. A really decent bloke and total professional, he went above and beyond the call of duty and had every person in the place up dancing (which he lead himself). By the time he finished, the whole room was out of their seats (parents included) and the party went on into the early hours of the morning, at which point our Polish barman, with a dazed look on his face said it was ‘absolutely best party he ever saw in this room’! Seriously though, we had an amazing weekend and want to thank you guys for a brilliant job excellently done.

I would like to say thank you on behalf of myself and my husband to Star DJs and especially Darragh. From the very start when i was looking at DJs i found Star DJs so nice to deal with and very helpful. We went with a DJ for the full day in the Waterside Hotel Donabate and i have to say im so glad i did. Darragh was fantastic and everyone said how good he was. He was so helpful in the months and weeks before the wedding and even days before. He played all the songs i put on my list and i have to say the dance floor was full all night long. We have had people come up to us since raving about the DJ and the fact that the dance floor was full all night. I will definitely be recommending star DJs to all my friends and family. So thanks a million to Darragh for helping to make our day so special and memorable.

Hi Garvan,
Fergal Rigby dj’d our wedding on 25 September last. We only arrived back from honeymoon last Friday and you guys were on my list of thank you’s but I just hadn’t gotten around to it until I saw your mail.
Both Padraic and I were absolutely delighted with Fergal – I danced almost the entire night and at one point thought to myself I should really be talking to more of our guests but the music was so good that every time I’d sit down to talk I was back up again because I’d hear some really good music! So many people asked us where we had sourced the dj from and commented on how good the music was. I suppose it’s one of those things you fear coming up to a wedding that you’ll have an empty dancefloor – well my fears were completely unfounded; I just feared at times for Fergal’s equipment such was the exuberance on the dancefloor!
The standard of service from Star DJ’s was also excellent right from our very initial contact. When I was researching dj options I dropped you an email and you gave me a call to discuss our options further. At the time I wasn’t sure whether you were just a very good salesman but I have to say both you and Fergal really delivered on what you promised. The music was completely tailored to the style of our wedding and to the age groups there which is why it worked so well I think. It was great that Fergal called in to us a few weeks before the wedding – so much better than discussing over the phone – and true to his word he gave me a quick call a few days before the wedding just to check in. This is exactly the kind of service you need in the run up to a wedding.
I honestly couldn’t recommend Star DJ’s and Fergal highly enough. I wish you every success and will definitely refer you to anyone I know searching for a dj.

Hi,
We were really pleased with the overall experience. Al was our DJ. He phoned a few weeks before the wedding and asked that we put together a list of our ‘likes’ and ‘dislikes’. Al played a lot of the songs on our ‘like’ list, whilst also taking requests from the guests and playing some floor fillers (which he also asked if we were ok with him doing). So many people commented on how good Al was and we found him lovely to deal with. We would recommend Star Ds to anyone getting married and have just voted your company as Best DJs on the Weddings Online Awards survey.

We got married at the waterside in Donabate,we chose to go for a dj only as we had dancers and fireworks for later on in the evening. Colin was our dj and he was only brilliant, we met him at the wedding fair the year of our wedding and discussed our plans, we asked for him to dj our wedding as we were really impressed, he knew his stuff, also as a young couple we found he knew what we wanted before we asked. Before the wedding he rang once or twice and confirmed everything and was very reassuring.on the night he looked smart, was punctual, and just got on with things i never needed to remind him of a thing all night,a lot of friends commented on how good he was and asked for details for their own weddings. I would have no problem recommending star djs because as far as the wedding djs we have seen previous there is no comparison!
thanks for making our night.

To whom it may concern,
Just a quick email to express my complete satisfaction with the service provided by your DJ on Saturday.
He was a pleasure to deal with and provided a top quality service on the night. He was in contact with me a couple of weeks before the event and discussed his plans for the night.
After giving him a sample selection of songs that we liked he then used this to provide a complete set of songs that were right on the mark.
I will have no hesitation in recommending Star DJs and in particular your DJ for any upcoming events.

Our DJ on the day was Conor and all our guests commented on how the “tunes were banging”. The dancefloor was never empty from start to finish. Highly recommend!!

We booked StarDJs for a night on the Lough Derg Rally. From the beginning Garvan was a pleasure to deal with and extremely flexible with what we wanted. Our DJ on the night was Ronan, he was the ultimate professional and had everyone dancing on the tables and chairs by the end of the night. I had comments like “Best night ever” and everyone didn’t want the night to end. Thanks Ronan! Highly recommend 5 Stars!

I was recommended by a friend to check the Star DJs website. We reached out to Star DJs to formally book Garvan. He was so responsive anytime we contacted him and even he called me to check in a few times. Our face-to-face meeting was also great. He asked the right questions to understand our style and our guests as well. He made great points and gave great recommendations. On the night, everyone (literally everyone) was on the dance floor. Even today (wedding was 3 weeks ago) when we ask people to send videos/pics, they say they were having so much fun on the dance floor that they didn’t even use their phones (how unusually great is that). I totally recommend Garvan from Star DJs!! What a fun, valuable entetainment! Garvan earned every penny that night! Thanks Garvan!

Had a great experience.
We booked Star DJs for our wedding. Colin was the DJ assigned to our reception. In advance of the wedding, he discussed what we were hoping to get from the music on the night. Colin’s input was very helpful and allowed us focus on the songs which were important to us and important to some of our guests. On the night Colin said hello and then dealt directly with the hotel’s banqueting manager on setting up his equipment etc. This was great as we were busy with other aspects of the day. Colin was great and announced our entry to the reception and the speeches etc.
The background music during the meal was perfect and in line with our tastes. The after dinner music was even better and Colin catered for everyone’s tastes and took requests from guests which made it much easier to get people up on the dance floor. If I had to rate the DJ experience I’d give it 10/10 and I’d like to thank Colin for helping make it a great night.

I was really pleased with how the music worked out and the feedback from the guests was really good. As you will have seen from my feedback I was happy – but I wanted to make a point about Mal. Mal was a great DJ. It was great to meet him before hand to discuss the few little different things that I was interested in doing at the wedding. We had a few phone conversations to confirm and agree the first dance which required extra input on Mals behalf.
He was a crowd pleaser and varied the music as he saw fit to keep them dancing. They were happy and so were we! The volume was perfect people could chat – and the lights and equipment really gave the room a different feel for the evening dancing. Thanks for everything. I would recommend Mal as he was very professional.

Good morning,
Sorry for the delayed response on this. We were extremely satisfied with our experience with Star DJs. The booking process was pain free, and all our questions were answered really quickly. Being based outside Ireland, it was extremely useful to have an email based booking, and as mentioned, every email was replied to very swiftly.
Our DJ Tim rang in the run up to the wedding to confirm details including the song choices we had sent, and to get a feel for the type of music we did and didn’t want. On the day itself, Tim was fantastic. He played our requested songs, listened to the guests and took requests, and even stayed on later than scheduled, when the band had overran and he couldn’t start on time. He had everyone out on the dance floor the whole time, which was exactly what we wanted.
As a side note, when he initially arrived, I was on my way to complain about the heat in the venue for the 3rd time. Instead Tim went to speak to the venue team, and within minutes the air conditioning had been turned up. I can’t tell you how grateful I was for that!

Brilliant wedding DJ service, and very prompt and professional to work with. Prior to the wedding, we spoke with Mark and he asked several questions to get a better understanding of the guests and our musical interests. Will certainly do these events again for our staff at Conack who have asked for more again as it went off without a hitch and brought a lot of fun.

Dear Owen,
This is a very belated but a huge thank you for organising Darragh O’Dea to be the DJ at our wedding in Ballymagarvey Village. Once the band finished up Darragh took over immediately and was super. The dance floor was packed for the entire night and every single request he was asked to play he did, which pretty much impressed every single guest!
We’ve had terrific feedback from everyone re the music and that was entirely down to him. He also had a great manner and told me not to worry when I never got round to putting any kind of play list together. I think all I said was Take That and A-ha and thankfully he kept everyone happy not just me!!
Please pass on our VERY belated thanks to him!

Myself and my husband Alexander would like to say a very Big Thank you to one of your DJs, who played at our wedding. His name is Garvan Rigby. He did a fantastic job on the day, was very flexible at accommodating all the sudden changes, was very attentive and well organised. He has such a lovely personality and is definitely enjoying his work. He gave us a lot of useful advice before our big day and all the guests really enjoyed the evening.

well i can safely say you made my night! it may not have been the most traditional wedding in terms of music, however it was the music i wanted and the music i danced to when i first met stuart, we grew up with that music and it really took us back. i loved every minute of it, even people who wouldnt like dance music where up on the floor. you really really made the night, everyone has said it was the best wedding they have ever been at and that i was such a happy bride the whole night up on the dance floor.
it is one wedding that will be talked about – in a good way!! – for years to come
i thank you very much for doing the gig, we havent stopped talking about it, and you will certainly be our 1st port of call for us in the future for any parties we might have!!!!!!
thanks again, you really were fantastic!

Hi Garvan,
We had Owen Clarke as out DJ in the Gravity Bar at Guinness Storehouse.
I had great feedback from my colleagues regarding Owen from previous events and was delighted with him myself also.
He was set-up in plenty of time for the event and the group absolutely loved the music he played! Testament to that was that they were all up dancing! Fantastic service and will be back again to book your services when I have a requirement.

Garvan was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The set on the Friday night was a great success and everyone at the event was really excited for Garvan’s second set on the Saturday and he didn’t disappoint. He was very accommodating to suit the set up at the venue (which required him to adapt last minute) and overall I couldn’t voice any complaints about the service provided.

From start to finish Star DJs were fantastic! I couldn’t find a DJ at short notice and you came to my rescue! From the first phone call you were so helpful, I was put in contact with Darragh and he is such a lovely person, great DJ and the event was brilliant, Darragh played all the music we had discussed before the event. There is nothing I would change, I have and will recommend Star DJs to people and if I ever need a DJ again I know who to call, thank you for everything.

The before & after service is fantastic. I would highly recommend them and would have no problem hiring them again. Garvan was our DJ for the night and I found him excellent – nothing was a problem – he would suggest doing this & that but he still provided what you want. It made the party. Just wanted to send you a quick note to say how delighted I was with the DJ on Saturday night. Terry did a great job of entertaining the crowd and was the main reason the party was such a complete success. From his friendliness with the kids, to his banter with the family and friends, he kept the party going and had everyone dancing and up enjoying themselves ( even my brothers who I don’t think have ever been on the dance floor before!). I got so many compliments on the night about him, and the music that I had to write and say thanks for a job well done. I will have no hesitation in recommending your company and your Djs to people I know.

They always tell you that the DJ you choose can either make or break your reception. I did not really believe this, but I took the advice of my friends and did my research. I hired Star DJ’s because of the great reviews and the reputation. I knew Star DJs would not let us down. I still wasn’t sure what I was getting until we had our first phone conversation with Garvan, our DJ that would be doing our wedding. He was very attentive. He gave us such great suggestions. The night of the wedding was perfect. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing. I can’t tell you how amazing this company is! Someone who took getting married as seriously as I did, would make sure to do the research on what DJ to hire. Make this your easiest wedding choice. Hire Star DJs! You will not regret it

Just want to say a huge thanks for such a successful night in the Radisson hotel for Digicoms party . Terry our DJ was a character , for such a small group (22 people) I was worried it might not go down well but everyone agreed it was a super night ,The room was fabulous , Terry kept us entertained with music and gags throughout the night , then we had a quiz which everyone agreed was great fun- was very impressed Terry had researched (and included a few Digicom related questions ) , Thank you so much for making our night so successful , I would not hesitate in recommending your service to any of our clients and hopefully we will have an opportunity to use your services again soon.

Hi,
A big thank you to Garvan for doing an amazing job at our wedding.
The StarDJ service was first class right from my initial email contact, through to meeting with Garv to plan the playlist. The straight forward, no nonsense approach was appreciated especially as we were planning an Irish wedding based in the UK.
I’d like to think we had suggested some decent tunes but the way that Garv put them together ensured that the dance floor was rammed all night. Comments like ” the music was just BRILL-I-ANT” and ” I just danced the legs off me” from our guests tells us that everyone had a fantastic night.
We would not hesitate to recommend. In fact we already have!
As you say in Ireland, thanks a million!

Hi Owen,
We were very happy with our DJ Mal for my husbands 50th birthday and surprise “This is your life”. We asked for mainly 80s music and he felt he was entertaining the 40 and 50 year olds which was exactly what we wanted. He asked us during the night if we wanted to add in some more uptodate music and I could see my husband really enjoyed the list. Also Mal was able to put music to the “this is your life” very well even with some changes being made to the slides. I was in good contact with him before the night and I felt he really wanted to help create a good night and I didn’t feel I was a nuisance to him.
At the end of the night we were really happy with him and would have no hesitation having him as our DJ for any future event. So thank you very much.

Apologies I meant to e-mail straight after my party on Apr. 11th. Never having done anything as wild as having a DJ and reached my !! birthday I cannot give you all enough praise. From those I talked to on the phone beforehand to Graham on the night absolutely fantastic. The whole thing was done so discreetly, pleasantly nothing was too much trouble, especially as I suppose you are usually dealing with totally wired clients!!! An experience I would recommend to all, many many thanks for a great night. So many people said “and the music was brilliant”.

DJ was brilliant on the night; he introduced himself to both of us and let us know if there were any special requests or anything we were not happy with to give him a shout. Darragh was our wedding DJ. We have nothing but praise for him. Darragh met us at our home about 1 month before the wedding and we went through what music we like. We didn’t want conventional ‘wedding’ music. We felt very confident after this meeting that Darragh understood what we wanted. The quality of the DJ and music has such a big effect on your guests’ perception of the event, and with Star DJ that is one thing you can relax about! Mark (our DJ) really managed to get the party going and having requested a few songs, put together a play list that really suited the crowd! Great service, great music and great value for money! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Star DJ to anyone and everyone! Thanks again!

Hi, Just wanted to give some feedback on our wedding in killarney. Mark was the Dj. He was absolutely fantastic, people were out on the floor the entire night, he played the perfect mix of music to suit everybody and we really couldn’t have been happier with him. He is a lovely person as well – thanks!!!

On behalf of the Irish Master Athletics Assoc. I would like to express our gratitude to both Terry & yourself for your assistance leading up to plus on Saturday nights function in the Crowne Plaza. From the moment the music started, the crowd got going, indeed with some not leaving the dance floor throughout the whole night.
Thankfully, the whole weekend went exceptionally well from an organisational viewpoint, with Saturday nights function drawing a brilliant weekend to a very successful conclusion.
We will certainly recommend Star DJs to any other party who would be looking for similar entertainment.

Hi,
being a mature couple we had preconcieved ideas about what music we wanted to hear and we were also a bit worried about using a dj as opposed to a live band. the live being way out of our budget we had to use the dj. having heard star djs at a wedding a few year earlier we were happy enough though still nervous as to how it would be received. we need not have worried, our choice of music was played throughout the evening and to our amazement the danceflor was never unoccupied. the comments we got from family and friends about the music thrilled us. so all we can say is, we are delighted we didnt use a live band. our thanks to all at star djs.

Hi
Many, many thanks for the great music you provided on Saturday night at my husbands 40th birthday party in Lawlors Hotel.
All our friends have said how good the DJ was, and that your selection of songs were brilliant. The dancefloor was packed all night, and everyone had a great time.
And also, can I say thanks for being so organised and pucntional. You showed real professionalism during the evening, and also during the week when discussing some song choices for the evening. Your advice was much appreciated, and showed your wealth of experience.
